imo, the snares sound too organic. I'd lean into a midi snare rather than one that sounds real. And it doesn't sound like you've got anything happening with the stereo... all just mono for now? also might be leaning into the phaser sounds a little too much? Not sure. Maybe just put them down a little in the mix.

i started 3 months ago, so i dont know how to change it to stereo

#

ill change the snare

lean anvil

yeah that sounds good. Or like an 808 snare would be good too.

okay

#

heres what it sounds like with a bit of tuning ( i just clipped it to 40 seconds, wanna save storage

lean anvil

that sounds more fitting to my ear

I notice it most with the phaseing sound. Those often will sweep through stereo too and it's not.

#

if you want one element to stand out, you can tilt it toward one ear or another on the mastering knob

grizzled laurel
#

okay ill figure that one out

lean anvil
#

you can also use different plugins to do things, like the panomatic will move something around

grizzled laurel
#

and you mean the phasing sound as the keys ?

lean anvil
#

you don't want to overdo it on stereo, but it can add some dynamics

#

yeah those

yeah. now it's bouncing. You'll want to mix it too. Don't want to overdo the stereo(unless you're trying to overdo the stereo)
