Fl suddenly crashing

So basically every time I open a Flp on Mac, the rainbow thing spins and says program not responding. It'll take 2-5 tries for it to open, I can add patterns and such, but if I add a VST it crashes, sometimes it doesn't... but when I load a plugin to the mixer, always crashing unless it's stock plugin .. this has all happened randomly, I've updated fl and Mac no luck...
