#How to hide all the extra stuff?

well you cant delete the tab youre currently on but you can send folders into new tabs, and group specific folders together
-
so right click on the folder
-
select "open in new tab"
-
right click on any other folder you want to group it to
-
select "add folder to tab"
then it should send them to their own tab
it'll end up looking like this
and if you right click on the icon you can rename it and customize it in a few ways
I wouldn't recommend doing that though. You can actually block yourself from possible future troubleshooting this way
it's possible to get them back, but I still wouldn't recommend deleting the tab in the first place
i never suggested deleting anything..
@tyche 🙏🏻 TY I got it! Made a new tab with only my samples!
well you cant delete the tab youre currently on
It's perfect now, I can just go inbetween my stuff and ALL, so I can still work out of the other items if I need to aswell so ty for the input @thorn hawk. I know that section is important hahaha I wasn't going to delete it 😛
Gave +1 Rep to @thorn hawk (current: #167 - 1)
thats a suggestion? interesting
guys. relax I got it! THANK YOU 😅
@tyche Any idea how do the same for this menu?
They only have 3 options? 😕
theres a few ways to fix this
i just want to confirm something before i go ahead and tell you can you send a screenshot of what you see in this directory
ah yeah the only way to fix it i guess is to reinstall
i was thinking of just rebuilding it but i dont think it'll work
during the installer theres a section where it asks how you want to structure your database
it looks like yours was set to alphabetical
so this time pick either simple or categorized
also when during the uninstallation process do not remove settings
and during the installation process dont clear your settings
doing this will maintain the current settings you have so you want have to set up too many things
also very important before you uninstall
your sample library is not in the user database its in the main fl database
so i'd advise you either copy it and paste it into a different location before uninstalling and then put it back
or just put it in a location thats not where the main database for fl studio is
