instead of making the last bar go into pretty much a white noise
how about you cut out everything but the main melody
and then the last bar before the drop will be just the melody at roughly 0:29
then you do a short riser into the drop
that would be one of many solutions
inevitably i think the issue im intuitively getting at now that i think about it is that you are trying too hard to add MORE things into your DROP. Instead, try TAKING AWAY THINGS, as you approach the drop.

As @fading matrix said above, I think that filter bled into the drop so it killed the tension. Cutting out everything will add suspense and make sure that kick is heard maybe impact or cymbal crash.
