I wouldn’t agree. I was taught something in music that I’ll never forget: "less is more." The less you do, the better it is. Sure, it’s not bad, it still needs a few more years of learning, but it’s not bad. However, I don’t know how you can say that a vocal can fit on this. If the voice we’re talking about is Drake, I might believe you, but let’s not forget that the production is supposed to serve the vocals, and that’s not the case here.

I fully disagree, jesus.
First of all, of all people, Drake's beats are usually simple af because bro rapps like he is bored out of his mind.
In this case, there is more than enough space to fit in some vocals. The melody is simple, spacey and leaves enough room for a properly mixed voice to be inserted and still being up front.
The only thing that could throw of an artist would be the snare fill at the end, but that can be used sparingly within the full arrangement.
