dude's trying to learn. what a roast what for? real advice: check the key that your samples are in, be sure they are all the same. if not, pitch correct (100 cents for a half step, 200 whole). google your scale and look at that. set your piano roll to that scale in the view > scale highlighting. getting everything in key will improve the sound a lot. don't know if you are using loops or oneshots for the beat, guessing loops. make it is timed. quick trick, set the project bpm to the loop bpm before dragging it in, then double click and change the loop from resample to stretch pro. then change your project tempo. you can also play with the time knob there. get the timing and key handled and your ideas can shine through. with work, I don't see why your idea can't sound good.
