#Broken plugin and notes

  1. When im using any plugin (im currently trying the rock plugin) all of the instruments are the same (drums)
  2. It only lets me place notes in the dark grey spots (for example: Snare Side and Crash) but not on the grey ones (for example: Floor Tom or Snare Rim)

Is it preventing me because i have the free trial version or something?

Or am i just stupid because it's my first time trying fl studio, I've used google song maker and oceanwaves before (both non-apps)

oh and btw also when i use the rock plugin and i go on the guitar it's still drums, and like that for every other instrument?
