sounds like sum off of Homogenic
huh, needs a ton of saturation and distortion
im just wanting people's opinions on this
alr
Honest opinion, I don't know why you would stack this many drum loops. It sounds messy and distorted.
sry
ill try to fix it
Don't apologize. If that's the sound you're going for it's perfect. I don't like it but I don't like DnB or dubstep or a lot of other things so my opinion might mean nothing if my personal taste doesn't align with your artistic vision.
I like feeding reverb into delay and that's supposed to be a no no so whatever.
alright
The copious amounts of drum loops does make it sound muddy, and it's constantly peaking.
Perhaps chopping up the drums and using small segments in succession could yield a better result
I can envision some techno-ey elements going well with this
just needs some better mixing
wait i think its because of the audio quality is the reason why it sounds distoted
how do i chop things up?
That depends
Maybe take one bar (four beats) of a drum sample, then add another one bar of another drum sample at the end of it
Vary it to half a bar (2 bar) or just one beat
It's really a feeling dependent thing
it actually kinda sounds like this tbh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfokXwLPBoE
and no this is not a rickroll
