#1 Year into producing, maybe my best track to date, honest feedback welcome!

This is honestly sounding good for someone who's been doing this only for a year. Good job man!
Although, it does sound good but it could be better. The vocals for example; it sounds buried and a tiny bit muffled. Vocals in genres like these tend to be bright and present for which it lacks in your track. You can achieve that by a ton of compression, saturation together with air EQs, De-Essing and dynamic frequency unmasking (assuming your source recording is already sounding great) The snare could use some lift it's not quite forward enough. The kick is too boxy around 0:57 you can fix that by attenuating frequencies around 400Hz - 800Hz or just try looking for a different kick instead. Last but not least, the reverse stereo textures you added around the intro and 1:50 is sounding a bit harsh around 5kHz - 8kHz. Cutting them using an EQ or a Dynamic Resonance Suppressor would help tame them. Overall, you're already way ahead than most people in terms of progress my brother. Keep it up!
thanks! I wish i had a quality pair of headphones or speakers to mix in for more accuracy but these old gaming headphones dont do me any favours haha, I'll definitely jump on some of those changes, thanks again for the advice 🙂
