Im having such a hard time making melodies to my beats the drums i got down but i need to get something or someone to help me create melodies any feedback is apreciated as always

well, do you know any music theory?

what I usually do is make a chord, and then chop it into a melody

i do know bits and pices like chords and what not but i don't know how to make my melodies have any feeling its like they dont have a soul

i just do trial and error with a midi keyboard.
