It's missing something

Can anyone help me figure out what the second part of my song is missing? To me it sounds so flat and digital

i think the bassline is a bit robotic, and its not really gelling with the drums super well which also are a bit flat (particularly the hats not really like doing anything)

i get the vibe youre going for, something funky. i just know like when i write the rhythm bits on that kind of music, the groove on the bass and the drums have to lend to each other rly tightly
