So first of all really like the vibe of your beat, I don't know how new are into the world of music production, so I can't really tell if you have cooked or not... I could point out so many things that could be improved in third beat

Producer tag: I like how it starts, I mean it's sounds great! but it could have been more creative, like as I said it starts of pretty well, but I don't like the way it sounds a bit awkward after the tag is done, like you could have added some effects like tapestop, or just some kind of fill to like transition from that part to the other, it would have more impactful I guess

Drums: I find your drums are a bit repetitive, like same pattern is going throughout the song, which is fine, but some extra flavors you could have added like, rolls, fill, some unexpected silence/beats... would been have much cooler

Hihats: As I said, your drums are too repeatative, and so is your Hi-hats, see the hihats should have some variation, at the 4th bar atleast, yk what I mean, like its fine to play hihat same for the 3 bars, but bring some change at the last bar, right?

Sounds a bit empty , could have added some kind of rythmic texture to fill the background a bit, your atmosphere of the beat is pretty good, but in terms of layer there's onlyu melody, kick, claps. hihat, and bass. which is enough to make a song, but still some kind of percussive layer, or vinyl textures , or any rythmic sound, at low vol could have worked great!

Now let's talk about the mix

So the mix sounds really muddy in my opinion, I can hear that your kick and bass are really clashing so much, so you will have to like sidechain the bass with your kick so that you get a cleaner and a pleasant mix.

Rather than that every thing is fine, the gain staging is pretty good tbh the way everything's sounding is really nice, just make sure to always kick and bass (although there could be some exception, but it's always a good practice to sidechain your bass with kick)

ya that's cool, see don't mind bad about what I said, I just gave you feedback about your music, so that you can analyse by yourself if it's really the problem or not I hope you understand, I'm not critizing but giving a valuable feedback, as I know anyone can feel a bit bad if they come across a bad feedback about their art (I used to do also), but I guess this is the only way to improve, you have to accept it and work on it instead! 🙂

I haven't finished typing there so, I'll like finish it for you, so that you can like finally work on it, and improve it a lot more, I believe!

Bad part done lets now talk about the good part,

• Really like the melody part of the song, and the total ambience of the song, I don't care if it's a sample or smth, the sound selection is great which is an essential part of Music..
• As I said mix is pretty good, being only 2 weeks into production
• Overall very well done.... this is much better that what I could have done in those intitial days!

Basically in simple terms, your kick and bass both are bass heavy right, and there should never be more than one bass elements playing at a time!
You might think that which song does not use kick and bass the same time, they do right? the answer is they do but also not...
What I meant by that is, suppose although the the bass and kick hit at the same beat, to make them sound cleaner, and kick hit more harder, the volume of bass is lowered for the time till the sound of kick is playing, so now they are not playing at the exact same time. Now, if you dump down the volume of bass too much and for too long it might sound overpowered and noticeable, so it's mixed in a way that it sounds they are the same element without being the same, and this is called SIDECHAINING.
Now to achieve this there are many ways, you can follow along hundreds of sidechaining tutorial listed on the internet.
