Are the hi hats a loop as well?
The 808, I can't tell for sure since I'm on my phone but one of the hits sounds slightly out of key.
Nothing was pre loop
I made it all myself
I just put the hi hats to go the whole time
So you made the piano and strings and stuff?
What key is it in?
B minor
What's your music background
That makes sense
Yea the melody was good, a little bare but you'll learn how to fill it out in time.
Drums were super basic I'd focus on that.
Yeah i was struggling w the drums a lot
Thank u bro
I appreciate the feed
back
Imma watch some tutorials on drums
I just assume everyone starting out is using pre made loops when I hear a melody like that
LOLL
What plug in was the string from?
Um i think it was sy something
it was in the synth section
Sytrus
i opened it and it had like 200 sounds or smth
YEAH
Sytrus
It was the orchestra thing
Octavator Orchestra
similar to that
Cool. Well your melodys are very good for someone brand new.
THANK YOU man i appreciate that a ton
Trap drums or whatever you're going for, tend to not be the most complex thing tbh.
You'll be able to pick up on the basic bounce pretty quick I think.
Cheers bro appreciate that
i made another beat earlier
completely diff style
mind if i send u it ?
the 808's r bad cuz they r from flex before yall helped me get that pkugin
plugin
Sure
Im not too fond on it butit's a diff style i was just kinda experimenting w the diff sounds
exploring the sounds i had etc
You have interesting ideas there
But brother we gotta get you some new instruments 😹
These stock VSTs sometimes ain't it
NO FR
Thanks bro i appreciate it
Flex is actually very good
i gotta cop some plugins
u got any good ones u recommend?
I made like a rave type loop earlier asw
I'd probably try to work out of Flex I think until you can get better stuff
Nah sorry, I'm sample based. I sample everything.
I can cop better stuff i got a fat paycheck recently
here's another thingy
i made like in the morning
when i was testing things out
i made my own 808 for that one from like a tutorial
Yea definitely interesting ideas beyond your experience level imo
When I first started I didn't even know how to place a snare properly in the step sequencer.
To be fair though it was like 24 years ago and no YouTube or anything.
LOLL
True
anyways man
thank you so much
imma keep up the grind
