#Thoughts? Ideas on mixing/mastering or sound design?

Personally I think this is the best what I've ever done. This is also my first time working with any kind of vocal properly
drums need some love. sounds like you have nothing but a kick after the build and i'm really not a fan of that trap snare in the intro
low end doesn't come through in the mix either which is a big part of edm in general
would you be open to sharing the flp or stems? i have some thoughts that would be easier to show you.
I understand that lol, I tried putting a clap in the drop too but it sounded wrong to me, maybe I didn't experiment enough. For me the low end is enough, sure it's a little low but I'm trying to be conservative, I can always adjust it later. Sure, I can post the flp, but you already replied in a different thread of this
yeah i realize you opened 2 threads now
i was going through giving feedback on genres i'm familiar with
still think you need some more bass if you're going for an EDM track
Yea I get what you say
FL 21.2 to open
I used sylenth1, serum, kickstart 2. GGate can be ignored and MCompressor can be replaced with any other compressor
I used the fl cloud kick shaper to change up the kick a bit to give it more punch and changed the bass to a default serum preset and then changed the mix for the bass a bit
also added maximus and fruity compressor to the main channel for some quick balance and lift
and youlean to see where the overall level was at
if you don't have youlean i highly recommend it and it's free
if you're running a subbass you can easily push the bass into the mid/low range and still have a nice rounded out sound
I'm using an older version of FL
Why? Upgrades are free.
Eh... it does not fit what I was looking for at all.. Doesn't fit my vibe. I know you tried to make the bass "groove" from the start but the notes roughly clash for me. I'm most likely sticking to what I have right now. Sorry
Hey you do you. Everyone has different ideas for what sounds good.
Glad you understand
