is it full volume or faint? if its full volume right click the record button and see whats checked in the recording filter. Then when it asks what would you like to record hit audio into the playlist as an audio clip. Also find a free mixer track for your audio recording setting the mic input up on a used mixer track records any audio linked to that track. It's been years since I've used FL Studio to record audio so I might be wrong.

hi so if i right click on the recording button on the top it says on recording filter that i have everything unchecked except audio. and yes the noise appears when i put a input in the mixer track i wanna record in it also shows in my focusrite controls that on input 1 and 2 it does the noise without having even a mic plugged in i even got a new interface and it didnt solve the issue
Yeah that's strange, stuff like that is why I use pro tools to record audio now. Did you try to change to FL Studio ASIO to see if it still persists?
i dont think its fl studio because even when im not on fl studio on the focusrite control app i can see the noise coming out of input 1 and 2 too. i tryed fl studio asio but then i cant record anymore with my microphone
Did you at some point when clicking record, click "everything" and then "don't ask" before?
Or does this dialog show up each time you click record? If it does, then are you clicking "everything"?
For future reference you should post this in #1019884693786734682 , #1073580630559948922 is for feedback on tracks :)
idk i remember pressing always notes and automation i think and then i pressed dont ask in the future

Right click the recording button, do you have audio checked?
yes audio is checked and everything else unchecked
So when you click record, it will be recording your room even if you're not using the mic
yes if i go to a mixer channel and go input 1 or two it makes white noise even without a mic plugged in
and even when im on focusrites control panel it shows the noise.
it even records noise playing from my pattern playlist from fl studio like my beat or recordings
is there a way to change this post to the right channel?
i even reached out to my interface support and they couldnt help me out and now there ignoring my emails. i even bought a new interface and still this problem persists.
Not sure
Did you set it to external mode on the insert when you changed the input to your mic? That might explain that bit. The white noise I am not sure of
i always press no so i can hear myself
Can you send some screenshots of your mixer insert?
