I like what's there so far. It has a bit of harmonic movement, there aren't any major conflicts between instruments, and the rhythm works. It's not much though, and everything you have will be re-contextualized by whatever comes next. The tricky part from here is making that movement take the song somewhere interesting.

I tell everyone that says they want to push creative boundaries to listen to artists like Savant. Start with Vybz it's incredible and is full of great examples of how by not limiting yourself by genre or other arbitrary things you can take music in unexpected directions.
