I really enjoyed the track. It is well crafted and memorable feel. I could definitely see something like this in a "side-scroller" type video game. The mix, is were I suggest you work on. After listening to the track 4-5 times now, I get the feeling that a majority of the instruments are center panned. In addition the "guitar/synth" is quite loud compared to the other instrumentation. Great job! Keep it up, I really enjoyed it.
Oh wow
that's the biggest complement i ever got on my music
I submit alot of music for video games and movies, in addition to foley. I could envision this type of track in a side-scroller game easy...
i see ok so you say that i should change a volume a little bit on some parts.
yes, it needs some subtle mixing. Did you do any gain staging, panning, EQing?
Gain staging- i guess well i did make sure that volume is some what balanced Panning-i did not instead for Rythm guitar and bass i used Wider Plugin on them while the melody and drums dont have it Eq-I did not
ahhh... Good to know all the "Ear training" I did in college is paying off..hehheheh. Ya, mix it a bit and it will be great, I know it.
ok so 1. do you think that sounds that i used (specifically guitar) is ok 2.beside the volume problem would you say that the song is "Decent" sorry for so many questions btw
- Yes, the guitar is good for what it is being utilized for. 2. The track is very good, just needs a modicum of mixing (i.e. EQing, panning of instruments).
Also I don't know what the track is for, but how do you fell about the arrangement? I arrangement all of my "pieces/tracks" for Sync Licensing. I do not do alot with artist. Music for Sync is arranged TOTALLY diferent from song for artist.
Well this track is kind of Test track since im completely self-taught and im trying to keep my arrangements simple. i don't know if this answers your question
ahh..ok..well keep it up. You are doing great!
i just want to thx you again for help i hope you have a great life 🙂
