#Problem in Panning with FL Studio Native Knob Automation

Hi, I’m trying to automate the pan of my melody in a song and the melody is 2 patterns. In the mixer I’ve grouped routing both only to a another mixer channel. Then, I’ve separated the stereo to 100% and created an automation clip from the pan knob. I’ve automated it to go from 100% left to 100% right in a linear pattern. When listening to it I can notice it going from left to right, but using a single side of the headphone, even when it’s 100% left, I can still listen it in right side of the headphone. But I want it to be only in left… then after only in right. What should I do? I saw a way to do this with plugins, but I really would like to use FL native mixer knob automation. Is it a limitation of FL Studio native knob automation? Also, I tried doing the same to volume and it also doesn’t fully quiet. It still has the melody less loud in the background. Please save me!!!

Are the two tracks that you routed to the other mixer channel still going to the master?

#

If that was the problem you'll want to remember to ctrl+click to route a track only to that channel.

Hm. I recreated the setup you described as a sanity check and it's doing what it's supposed to so there has to be something else. The pan knobs are supposed to pan like you're expecting them to.

Can you screenshot your whole setup or share your screen? I'd like to help you figure this out if I can. It might be something about the plugins you're using or a weird setting somewhere I haven't touched in years.

I’ll also test the panning again in the next laptop, cuz that error could be from my actual computer driver that died before hahaha
