Increasing quality of instruments

So Im trying to increase a quality of other instruments from a drum cam to make atleast a useable backingtrack from it, any tips? since preety much the other instruments and vocals cant be heard clearly (maybe eq will help?)

EQ definitely, use a compressor or noise gate to get rid of noise

If you're new I wouldn't bother with a compressor

The issue is that neither of these tools have one way of using them

I would just play around, move some nodes around, see what sounds good and what doesn't

Boost frequencies if you feel like they're quiet, cut frequencies if you feel like they're loud
