if it's an inflection issue then that's not going to fix shit.

if you feel like it's coming across corny, practice different inflections and tones, say your words different, mess around with different lyrics with a different tone

well yes but their complaint isn't mic quality, it's that they're coming across as "corny" which i would have to assume is an issue regardless of mic quality

If you post an mp3 of the vocal segment then I'm happy to give feedback. Experiment with different lyrics and different singing/rapping styles to try to get your desired sound. Listen to reference tracks of some of your favorite vocalists in the same genre. Not to try to recreate them exactly but just to analyze and get some ideas.

its inflection, i worked at it a lot and overcame it but i think i just needed to get comfortable with myself
