#could i get some feedback on my mixing, it sounds pretty good to me

In the first mix, the highs had a bit too much treble for how little mids there were. That 808 was HOT oh my gosh- very good work on the brass and kick sound. Just make sure that you have some mids in the sound- i would say bring the mids up on the brass possibly. In the second mix, I'd say that the overall sound was nice, however, was a little repetitive. There was a section at 0:30 and 1:48 where the kick was much too overbearing and needs to have a limiter over it. I like the effect of the ambience throughout this mix. In the third mix, the mids were a little too high on the synths/melody instruments. Other than that, it sounds nice and I enjoyed the use of stereo and a wide array of sounds. Hope this helps.
thank you very much, it seems mids are my weak spot. any advice on how to spot a mix lacking in the mids?
i feel my ear is just not as trained as it should be or im not listening properly
I would recommend looping the track and moving the EQ slider around the mids for stereo instruments, like in your case- the brass
okay i try not to eq too much out of the mids because i dont want the brass to sound "cheap" mixing brass sounds can be so fickely
