Feedback for first EDM/dance song

I made an intro and drop for a kind of dance song and would like feedback on sound selection and how to make it more dynamic/animated

I like it. Maybe add some sidechain (since i cant hear the kick clearly) and chords i think. here is an example :)

Thank you for the advice! I hear what you mean with the kick not being clear enough and the chords do add more movement, and I also like the example you sent, that's crazy that you just made that lol

the sound selection is questionable. the mix is all over the place with the arp thing being very mid low heavy which is an interesting decision. the bass also takes up almost no of the mix since its barely audible also the open hat that plays throughout the mix is veryu harsh i would either turn it down or change it out for a different hat. Sorry if i came by as harsh just trying to get what i said across i truly appreciate this track

im gonna be honest its honestly just the feel of a beat. its not something you can describe its just something you learn over time. Its like riding a bike. you know how to do it but you dont know how to explain how to do it to someone who doesn't. but just like riding a bike you can get better at it over time with practice ofc. just keep producing and youll figure out what works and doesnt. sorry cant help its just something that comes over time. gl on ur musical journey 👍
