@north cedar Yo man I would love some feedback and help on this, particularly the chorus. I havent mixed it yet
Everything is so smooth w but I think it needs a bit more bass; maybe add a sub bass sidechained to your bass guitar idk. Also, I love the idea but I think you need to work a bit more on that first piano counter melody
thanks for reply
do you think the trumpets on chorus sound fine?
Agree with @umbral urchin It needs a sub-bass to bring a fullness to it. The trumpets sound fine, but I didn't know that was the chorus. Might need to punch it up to make it known that this is the chorus! Add some layers, and maybe change the chord structure to give it a profound difference from your verse.
A bit more but doesn't need that much more for the chorus tbh
Tomato, toh-mah-toh. My opinion is just that. There's no real right or wrong way 🙂
sorry for being so late
if you want to makje the chorus feel like
more impactful
add some stereo to the t rumpets
if you dont know how to do that easy ways are
stereo shaper (my favorite, it has a fwe presets for making a sound stereo)
chorus/flanger
delay
cause for now the chorus
doesnt seem to hit how it should
mixing wise the bass is just
too quiet
ppl saying you need sub
you dont there just too little bass
i rlly like it tho ur on the right track and its solid
