#cant hear recording when not sidechained to master

so i just got fl, and i dont like the playback inside because theres alot of latency, but whenever my recording isnt sidechained to the master, i cannot hear the vocals i just recorded. any fix to this?:)

Keep the side chain on, but change the monitoring settings next to the input selector above the first mixer insert effect slot

In your original question you said you can't hear the recording if it's not side chained to the master yeah?

Then change the monitor settings in the effects rack where you select your microphone
