you could change octaves on your melodies and chords so you have more stuff to work on your song structure

i added more of a structure to it, you can see the difference in the screenshot below, i changed the octaves like you said

if you want to give your melody more uniquneess

and make it mroe itneresting

try setting the notes on off beats insteada

#

as of now youre setting a note on each count

#

or each beat

#

and that makes it very boring and uninteresting

always mess around with timing

#

you might get something you really like
