Sounds like high cpu load crackling. How's your cpu doing when you're playing the sounds?
if this CPU load meter gets in the red/pink color it might be the reason causing the crackling

well this can depend on what you're doing right now. If you're playing a high CPU intensive game while using FL then this can cause it to have a high load. Do you have a strong pc?

Well you can export the melody with NO effects and then throw that export onto the Playlist THEN route that export to the mixer you had the instrument on then try that

Just as long as you're happy with the melody as it is now, otherwise you'll have to export again if you want to change some notes
