#Serum Exporting help

so i need to have it in its own seperate track on that rack?
and route it to my midi?
I'd recommend you copy and paste the MIDI you want to export onto a MIDI Out - yes
i cannot find a setting to route serum to the midi out
Copy and paste the MIDI notes
into the piano roll in serum channel?
Into the piano roll of a MIDI Out
and after i export it it comes out to no notes inside
Can you send a screenshot of you channel rack?
Are you on Pattern mode before exporting?
yes
What do your export settings look like when exporting that midi?
Do you have notes on anything other than the MIDI Out in that Pattern?
Huh that's weird. Is there any chance you could send me that project file for me to look at?
so how do i apply the changes to the piano roll like i wanted to test out monopoly but i do not see a setting in serum or midipolyphony to apply changes to the piano roll
Serum is a third party VST, so it does not have that kind of integration with the piano roll
Serum does have a legato/mono button, but that doesn't change anything in the piano roll itself
ahh so that is why its not changing the piano roll
it wants me to export it as something else other than midi
serum plugin in fl studio
Can you send a screenshot of it wanting you to export it something other than midi?
If you're talking about this button, that's not for MIDI
oh im talking about when i export it as a midi i do not get any notes but when i export it as a wav i get the changes well not notes just the 8 bit version of my midi so i have anthem score so i will see what will anthem score detect with this wav i exported from fl studio using serum
Yeah I don't know why exporting MIDI from FL isn't working for you, and I wont really be able to tell without looking at the project file
Here you go
On the right is the MIDI Out you're using, on the left is the one I used to export it successfully. I think you picked a preset for MIDI Out and it kind of messed it up
I think the trial version can export MIDI, but I'm not 100% on that. The MIDI Out in that project is not the default one, I can tell you that
how do i change it back to the defaut values?
Right click on 1, then select 2
how do i route my plug in to midi out?
You dont route plugins to midi out, you route MIDI out to plugins by matching the plugin's MIDI Input port with MIDI Out's output port
it matches my port but still no sound comes out
in serum it works but not for midipolyphony
What is this midiPolyphony VST?
The name of it makes me think that it doesn't actually make sound itself
when i also drag my midi into the plugin track it works but when i export it to mp3 or wav i get no audio
What are you trying to do in FL? I'm even more confused now.
You can get it to work like this, but Im not sure what the point of this plugin is supposed to be
yes im trying to do it in fl studio and it allows you to set the amount of notes to be played at one time
is there a way i can select all black keys in piano roll? @pseudo ferry
Try Shift + O and then Shift + i
If that doesn't work then I dont think there is a way to do that automatically
i cannot find the freqency shifter plugin anywhere and i have producer verison 20
