Hi

I am looking for a new headset for using when I am making music. The one that I am using now is the HyperX Cloud II and its not really a music headset its more of a gaming headset. So I have been looking around for a new headset and I found beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro but I dont know if I should get the 8o Ohm or the 250 Ohm I am using a GOXLR mini as the interface I know its not a music interface but you know. I might switch interface in the future so that something to consider.

For the GOXLR mini should i get the beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm or the 250 Ohm?

if you buy 250 ohms headphone you will strictly need an audio interface hence, cant use it with smaller devices like your phone, and even not with your laptop, unless you connect it to an audio interface

#

i have mx40x's 80 ohms and are just totally awesome

whatever you get you should also set aside some of your budget for sonarworks

#

usually headphones have weird frequency enhancements in some areas

#

sonarworks inverts it so you have a flat eq, much better for mixing

Sennheiser HD 280 are a solid choice as well to all those that have been already mentioned. They might even bit a cheaper, but they are ugly as hell so if you want something that you can use for recreational listening that doesnt look funky, you might wanna go with a DT 770 or AKG k371/ k361

Obviously the correct answer is the Skullcandy Crushers with the bass slider on max 🤷🏽‍♂️
