You're gonna need to double or triple your budget

400$

I would look into the bambu p1s. But those printers do go over $400.

There's not a printer thats at the price point of $400 with what you want.

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon for $299, but i have not heard good things about the machine.

You can try an A1 mini without the AMS lite and use the rest of your budget to order plexiglass for an enclosure. I haven't tried to print ASA yet but I built my own enclose and it gets pretty toasty in there.

guys how i explain u , there is in my country price are so diffrence like in my budget there is

bambu lab a1

Like a metal gear extruder

Or you could go with a small voron if you wanna get crafty with it and build it yourself however that’s gonna take you a bit to make it better or on par with the A1

Fully understandable that your circumstances limit budget, But if 400 is your budget, you need to make compromises. You can't have both specs and low price.

Budget: 300$
Print Size: 220x220mm to 300x300mm

You will have to make compromises, like ABS is very hard to print for beginners on a open print bed. A enclosed printer like the P1S or anycubic kobra s1 is much more helpful and its even possible to print certain nylon's brands.

Building an enclosure for the printer can have you end up spending the same amount instead of just building a enclosed printer.

If your budget is right now $400.

You need to be willing to at least way the pro's and con's of price vs specs.

anycubic kobra s1 software wise isnt as great as the bambu machines

But you need to do research and figure out which is worth it.

Or maybe save up more money?

first i need to learn with pla then go to abs

i think soo not definetly

#

for learning i go for cheap for a year and then go to qidi q1 pro or p1s

#

soo what u think is ender v3 / ke

oh so your looking for a starter machine.

#

not a machine that will do everything you posted?

If you want an open bed slinger, the A1 is the way to go. Printing ABS will be a bad time. I know 3 people with a Cebtauri Carbon and so far they have nothing but good things to say about them.

Note: max temp of the nozzle of the flashforge 5m pro is 280c

If you can up your price slightly I would go for a Elegoo CC

warped escarp
#

Thanks for suggestion

#

But confusion between
Bambu lab a1 or Elegoo carbon centauri

fading verge
#

I would go with bambu not to be a sell out, but bambu really has a good machine for beginners to start out with

#

Go A1 or P1S and you will be set for a while until you need a better machine for nylon

#

A1 for pla to petg and tpu

#

P1S for pla petg, tpu, and abs/asa

#

to do nylon its an entire other conversion

#

But of course the P1S can handle other enginner filaments that are not nylon

#

Just have to get the right nozzle and extruder gear upgrades which are pretty affordable on bambu

and remember that the cost of building an enclosure can add up close to a fully pre-built

@warped escarp if you want to print abs or Asa don’t get an open printer. If not for the warping, you’ve got a ton of toxic fumes off gassed.

the guy is going into engineering?

OP words: "I'm doing engineer"

heres a video explain the few different types of printers

rough jacinth

What OP wants at his price range simply doesn’t exist.

fading verge
#

Now just a beginner friendly machine for basic stuff and maybe upgrade in the future?

rough jacinth
#

Oh. Well then a simple starter printer like a1 works. I know people that exclusively use makerworld on their phone for prints because they don’t know how to operate a slicer or do any 3d modeling.

fading verge
#

yup

#

A1 or P1S to make life easier

#

I would avoid Elegoo's CC.... even if the price point is pretty good

#

they have things to improve on that would make it not great for a beginner

warped escarp
#

@fading verge is anycubic kobra s1 is good

#

More 50$ then bambu

fading verge
# warped escarp <@302106792656371722> is anycubic kobra s1 is good

$50 more doesn't mean its better.
It does come in enclosure, but pla suffers from heat creep and the kobra s1 does not have ventilation or open on top to help prevent pla from clogging the extruder.

But I do need a better idea of your direction to fully understand what type of advice to give

how about centuri carbon

#

seems to check off the boxes here

#

oh nvm

#

well actually

#

i would give the centuri a shot

#

if not then the k1se

#

yeah the CC checks off all the boxes and has been well recieved

#

its sealed, has heated chamber

#

its still a new product but it’ll get better over time

#

but ABS/ASA/NYLON is a huge ask for 300 bucks
