Hey guys, im designing a bracket which for its life (several years) will apply a low compression force (maybe 10kg) over the area of about a stick of gum) it needs to be rigid to spread the force evenly. The pcb surface will reach up to 100 degC so it needs to maintain its stiffness at these temperatures. Stress seems to be about <0.5mpa. Without annealing, is there a suitable filament?

we have the budget for pps cf if needed but feels like overkill. Stresses are low but it will be under continious compression + temperature

UK. We do have a pcb reflow oven that we can probably anneal parts if its that effective. Have access to a h2d from bambu

Gotcha. Is ordering from Europe (specifically Italy) a pain there?

no we can do that

There’s a company called TreeD in Italy that makes really good high-performance materials. Their PC-PBT GF would likely work pretty well for ya

The website is awful, but the filament is good lol
