I recently got some PLA Pro and cannot get reliable print results with it. I have tried multiple variations of settings yet I experience warping with just about every print that is longer than thirty minutes. I have tried everything the internet has told me to with no luck. I am printing on an Ender 6 with a bl touch. Can anyone help me out?

What temperatures are you using? What does your bed mesh look like?

220 nozzle, 60 bed. It is a glass bed

Are you using glue stick?

I'm trying to avoid it if possible, I don't want it to mess up the bl touch

I have never had good luck with anything on glass. You can try using something like hair spray.

#

And make sure your bed is nice and level

Like just spraying it on the bed?

#

Thats what the bl touch is for lol

No that's not what the bl touch is for

#

the BL Touch helps with imperfections in the build surface. It is not a replacement for properly leveling your bed

#

It can only compensate for a little bit

Yes I'm aware, I still frequently level it

So I would level it, possibly try increasing bed temp to 65 (I've seen people go as high as 70 but havent needed to myself), and putting on just a little hair spray.

Relevel, Hairspray(or gluestick) and try 225. While having a BL touch helps triple check that you have the z set correctly. PLA Pro should be one of the easiest PM PLA's to print.

Bltouch has o problems with a properly applied glue stick. Of course if you apply half stick and it has ripples because of the huge amount it's a different story

I'm having the issues with the same filament on my ender 3 v2 w/ bl touch. I was using some amazon brand before and my prints were perfect but I just spent 10 hours tinkering w/ settings. Can't get a single print started.

It sounds like you may be experiencing warping due to temperature or speed of cooling. check that the temperature for the bed and extruder are optimal for the type of pla that you are using, and make sure that you are using appropriate cooling speeds for the part of the print in which warping is occurring. if the temperatures and cooling speeds are correct, you may need to consider adding a cooling fan to improve cooling.

I recently had issues with PLA PRO as well. I have stock cooling on the ender s1 pro, and I went from over 200 to 175, and my prints are more consistent now.

Something is wrong then, at 175°C PLA is not even melting. Your thermistor or the settings of the thermistor are likely wrong giving wrong readings.

Hmm. I thought maybe just my cooling was bad

I'm gonna try drying mine out in the oven today. I cant get a single 1st layer to stick.
