Hmm not a very helpful forge log :/
Does it crash with only etf and emf Installed?
If not you may have to thanos method search for the cause
is there a other one?
No it's just forge crash logs aren't very clear especially when it's a mixin error
let me try removing the other mods and only putting EMF and ETF in the mod folders
okay I got good news for you but its bad news for me. So it doesnt crash when I have ETF and EMF installed only
so then im guessing the answer lies with one of the other mods I have installed...
Try this
A: If you have a lot of mods installed and you need to narrow down which one is breaking, you can use the following method. Known as the Thanos method, or more formally, a Binary search.
- Step 1: split your mod list in half, making sure dependencies are still there.
- Step 2: test with one of the halves, if it works you know the issue isn't with those mods, if it doesn't work then this is the problem half.
- Step 3: take the problem half, which has the problem mod in it, and then repeat from step 1 by splitting this half.
- Step 4: Eventually you will only have a small handful of mods left and can easily identify the problem mod.
For 200 mods this only needs to be done 5 times to narrow down to 6 mods
oooooh i see alr
Thank. I will get back to you once im done.
alr found out its optifine
does it not support optifine at all?
lol
Yeah not co.patible
Etf and emf are alternative mods so you can get optifine features with mods like sodium and iris
so i can get the shaders option too?
cooked ngl sodium doesnt support forge...
It has forge ports
Embedium
And iris has a forge port oculus
They also have official neoforge ports
I remove optifine from the mods folder right?
Yes
