What mods are incompatible
So I’m not sure but the only things I thought might be the issue are lambdynamiclights and/or physics mod
But also dump more chat history in favor of chat patches

This bug will never be fixed.
Every version have this bug. 1.18.x, 1.19.x aaaaand 1.20.x.
its the model not loading issue that several people with unrelated mods are getting and i've only had like 3 people narrow down suspect mods for it
i've so far not been able to reproduce the issue with any mods so far and i've even copied the exact modlist of someone experiencing it like 80+ mods
there is an attempt at a fix in the 1.20 version with the new menu option but havent had anyone get back to me about it yet
i'm hoping the one linked above today might help narrow it down because i can still only guess at the issue

Its EVERY mod that change the models. Sometime the models load fine, but sometimes the models load wrong. Try it. Use "farming for blockheads" and your mods and you will see it. First start maybe it works fine, second maybe too. Third or fourth you will see the bug.
Farming for Blockheads brake the villager model.
Please dont overwork yourself, you're the best mod developer I've seen in a long time. Love your work btw.
in my case, dungeon mobs (+ maybe libraries) affect piglins, zombies and skeletons animations (dont work), customizable player models (cpm) do the same but strangely only for the zombies (husk and drowned work), and im not entirely sure if not enough animations do something to them too.. it is kinda hard to know why. I also saw some comments from u and another guy talking about modernfix, but i tried with and without that mod and there was no difference so i think they are compatible now
Yes for sure. His work is amazing and he is a very good dev. But i dont understand why he is not trying to fix this bug. This bug makes the mod useless for some modpacks. 😦

my setup can actually replicate the issue with this mod 
so
this is tricky
emf is working fine
but the mods are chaning the models after the fact
however
the models they replace them with are exposed for emf to replace via jems once i've finished modded entity code
so for instance better animations collections replaces the default villager model with a modded one
one that emf could soon alter by placing a jem file at "optifine/cem/modded/betteranimationscollection/animated_villager.jem"
I could attempt to cache all the entity rendered models before other mods affect them and revert them to force emf models
but that could break a lot of things

this is with that mod and my current fix
i have added an option to "force" the custom emf models back onto an entity
the downside is the better animations added things wont work
but it only does so if a .jem file is there for a custom model
I've also accidentally added full modded entity support i think
i need to manually add this fix to all vanilla feature renderers like sheep fur etc so this will hopefully be out by the weekend

0.2.11 might have fixed your issue as well but I haven't confirmed
Now the villager of "farming for blockheads" "market block" is animated but the vanilla villager have no eyes and no animations.
It should be the other way around.
should I wait until 0.2.11 to test my modpack with EMF and Fresh Animations again? just tried today and only some mobs are messed up, villagers seem to be working ok now for me.

hey! i just tried 0.2.12 with my pack and its the same. villagers are messed up again and have no eyes, would you like any logs?
Do you have any mods affecting those models?
i had better animations, I had not enough animations, and eating animations. but i removed these before launching. should i try deleting all the configs for the old mods or try on a fresh modpack?
so I used to, but i removed them before trying emf again.
Still the same problem with EMF and Farming for blockheads. (0.2.13)

i removed all other animation mods before even trying emf and they still have no eyes
Twilight Forest does not work too.
I'm aware of that too those two specifically will be high priority next update
