we are 100% opensource
Hi @wary fjord, welcome to our community 👋
We would love to meet and discuss the integration potential. Here is our calendar: https://calendly.com/d/cj79-kyf-b4z. Feel free to book an available slot.
Great Thanks
I sent a calendar invite Thursday, August 15 12pm
but it was not added to my caledar
did you already get the invite?
Yes, we get the invitation
see you on aug 15!
I see you also scheduled on aug 14. Which of them is the right one?
Sometimes Google Meet does this. Is the August 14 meeting added to your calendar?
15th one would work. There was some issue when i put that invite, that is why it was added. Please remove that 14th one. 15th we are avaibale. Thanks
you are the Co-Founder, right?
Hope we can meet there to discuss 🙂
Yes im one of the co-founders
i will cancel the meet on 14
Yes plz
Yes
Where is the US?
We’ve based in SF
Ahh ok
I am in Austin
here is my profile and sent you a connection request as well
Happy to meet you here and will see how we can collaborately work in future
i talked to the product leads from the R&D side
they are working with few other vendors to integrate authorization capabilties with the WSO2 IAM.
We have inhouse authorization framework build on top of XACML from 2007
we have lot of customers who use XACML
we are going to depreicate that and looking to connect another vendor for that we are more focus on CIAM side
and different other foucs
we are fully opensource and having iDaas as well
https://console.asgardeo.io/ this is our cloud
Just connected
Yes indeed, also its great to hear you’re familiar with other vendors especially love the XACML team 👍
Would love to learn your use case and details as well
No we dont, we have a relationship based approach based on Google Zanzibar whitepaper
We do support ABAC btw but its not powerfull as OPA capabilities but in overall our DSL almost all authz use cases
its great from Google yes
Yes, you can improve for that direction as well
OPA is going to be kind of standard now
as per the request came for us with our customers
they are asking everytime OPA
but things can be changed for sure with the time
we have more than 700 customers
so we have good anaysis on that
that is why we are going to remove XACML bcz it is bit complicated
from the business aspect, mostly not only involve developers to develop the permission model but busines level people as well
axiomatics has good tooling support for XACML
We take the zanzibar approach becauze of its scalabilit and performance capabilities especially in application level authorization
OPA is a standart right now ad you mentioned, but seeing slight transition on the market to zanzibar approaches especially in the SaaS landscape
Wr can discuss this in depth in our call for sure
Great to hear that, cant wait for your insights
Lets meet for sure
Hi @wary fjord, I saw that some of the attendees accepted the meeting on the 14th. Just to confirm, we’re meeting on the 15th, right?
Thank you team for this article: https://permify.co/post/attribute-based-access-control-abac/#how-to-implement-abac-an-enterprise-application This is very easy to follow and integrate permify in our system. 🙏

Hi
Your marketeers have misunderstood four nines availability (it's 99.99% not .9999%)
Permify is an open-source authorization service for scalable authorization systems using fine-grained permissions. Build your authorization model, store authorization data as tuples, and enforce permission with a single check!
Would be nice, if the permify-help channel could use threads.
Or, I'm missing the permissions to be able to start a thread?
hi @stuck furnace, in the next couple weeks we will update our channels for better use. I will create a threat for you about your question.
In fact, @stuck furnace, this week we'll be launching the new forum channel for questions. It'll help in this case, but also help for searching issues and keeping things a bit more organized. I'm hoping to get that launched in the next couple of days to run alongside the current setup
