I did all three procedures, so far the game closed down successefully a couple of times without issue, so I think it's partially resolved? I say partially because checking in the reliability monitor the PlatformProcess.exe still crashes at every game exit, this is the same behaviour I was having when i did the 'fix' by deleting conflicting apps. Should I worry about it?

PlatformProcess is the devs' custom implementation of an on-demand webview
handles stuff like the in-game login screen, news screen, banner details, web events and microtransactions
can't say it's a good implementation, but it does what it's supposed to do (most of the time)
it crashes when the game shuts down because it doesn't receive a proper stop signal

long story short nothing to worry about if you see it crashing when you close the game

Depends on your budget, game requires quite a beefy chip (devs recommend an SD8 Gen2 or higher) but will run on slightly older ones as well (SD888 or equivalent)

I've got a OnePlus Pad 3 and game runs perfectly fine all-high

If you want something smaller with the same performance (since the Pad3 is huge), maybe a RedMagic (Nubia) Astra? A Nova will handle the game just as fine

Srry to reply that late, I've tried what you advised me with the DNS thing. I manually changed it in the network settings and all, but nothing has changed so far. other people have told me it's the cloud hardware fucking up the game files because everyone else is running the game just fine
