However I think currently that system is now causing issues with the CPU as hard culling can cause stuttering. If I had access to their engine, I could see if they were using hard or soft culling

For running the game off a windows partition, I recommend following Valve's stuff on NTFS on Linux, keep your game prefix (and an installed launcher) in your Linux partition, and create a symlink for the .../GRYPHLINE/games folder in said prefix pointing to the windows game install location

How about running the game exe directly with the -force-d3d11 parameter?

Create a shortcut to Endfield.exe on your desktop
Right click, properties on the shortcut
Add in the parameter
(or just use CMD for a one-time run)

Launcher is basically only needed for major updates anyway
