i tried the same network, but now has my phone as hotspot in between and game doesn't have that disconnect anymore
basically the same network, just now it's going through the phone in the middle
wired connection to phone via usb also works
so it's either my laptop + the game doesn't like the router or vice versa
unfortunately there's not a lot i can do about the router as i'm in a college dorm and they stick the router 4 meters up in the ceiling, i can't even reach it

I did some testing on 591 windows compared to latest on Linux and it seems to stutter more in Wuling on windows, even though it's not maxxing my CPU or GPU at all

I was doing my testing on LTSC, I noticed that neither my CPU nor GPU were running at max. One core was at like 70% and GPU was at 30%, still stuttered

Vulkan seems particularly stuttery

It's not egregious, but it's constantly noticeable when I'm walking around and moving the camera

In valley4 it barely happens at all

But the majority of Wuling can be a bit rough

Qingbo stockade is particularly bad too, especially when more of the buildings are in view. It's like the more visually complex an area is, the more stuttery it is
