in context, your cpu sends data to gpu to load too...

and endfield new patch has new maps (meaning new coordinates and some sort of loads), which can cause cpu to calculate much... causing gpu load delays

Hello! Having a Android problem, ran endfield almost crashless for all of 1.0 on my pixel 10 XL, some stutters, fps drops, but plenty playable. Played the first couple of days of 1.1 with terrible fps/drops, but I could at least play it, and figured a fix would come in time.

Then, 2 days ago, I'd try and open the app, I'd get a black screen, and then it would crash out (no error message, just black screen, app closes). I'd have no other apps open, restarted phone multiple times, did a complete reinstall of the app yesterday and it played the best the game has played yet, as far as performance goes. Thought all was well until I tried to open the app again. Same issue, black screen, app closes.

I am currently at the point where to play it, I have to do a full clean install, and as soon as I close the app, it will refuse to open until reinstall

Like 2 days ago out of nowhere my launcher asked me to update my Intel UHD from version 31 to version 32 for game to run and i checked graphics and my graphics were Low and from Low and above it would show a warning symbol. Thing is my GPU is RTX 3050 Laptop (4VRAM) so idk if the issue is because of the vram and i've always had this, or the game suddenly decided to run on my UHD instead of GPU for some reason. Mentioning the vram thing because i saw online that it's recommended a minimum of 6VRAM while i got 4, so i assumed that could be the issue. However earlier i spoke in #endfield and someone suggested checking Task Manager, which i did, and while game running my UHD would have like 96% usage and my GPU like 20%. Thing is, yesterday, i went through Nvidia control, went to display settings as well, and made sure the game is running on GPU by my choice, instead of my laptop choosing. I don't have this issue anywhere else (to my knowledge).

Edit: Just tested on other games such as Satisfactory and it detected my GPU and i have 90% GPU usage and like around 3% on UHD.

The controller itself doesn't really work on it's own per se (aka if you run music files/listen to youtube, even when selecting the controller as the playback device, it doesn't really work).

however, if you launch Endfield, the controller speaker works, and if you mute Endfield through the volume mixer, you can freely listen to songs on your dualshock 4
