Nvidia 591.71 works flawlessly for me on DX11

Vulkan will not work at all, but not sure if its the driver package from Nvidia or just something else. I used Vulkan for 5 weeks without problems, but formatted my PC a few days ago, and fresh installed all new updated drivers and Vulkan no longer works at all. Game refuses to even launch the Vulkan API, defaults to some hybrid DX12/11 unoptimized Unity engine fallback API.

its not really DX12, the Unity engine supports DX12, and if have the game try to launch in Vulkan and it fails, unity will try to recover to prevent a crash and it falls back to DX12, it loads the DX12.dlls then realizes the game won't suppor that, then falls back further to DX11.dlls. This ends up with a really confused API stack that creates a shader cache that is busted from the ground up. The frametimes never flatline and stutter endlessly. You can see this with the RTSS OSD tool.

RTSS shows D3D12 in the frametime window when this sequence of events unfolds

If I launch DX11 from the launcher, it shows D3D11, and creates a new shader cache on first run.

If I try Vulkan, it fails (verified in the player.log file), and reverts to the DX12/11 core dlls, and causes the RTSS to show D3D12.
