Here is how to make DLSS show up again:

First, locate the game installation folder.

You can do this by opening the launcher, click the hamburger icon on the right side of the "Play" button.

Then click "Game Settings"

In game install path, select "Open file directory"

Then, open the boot.config file.

Inside the "EndField Game" folder, go to Endfield_Data -> boot.config (In my case is E:\GRYPHLINK\games\EndField Game\Endfield_Data\boot.config)

MAKE SURE TO BACKUP THIS FILE SOMEWHERE SAFE

Right click the file, and select "Open with", then choose Notepad

Delete the 2nd line from the bottom starting with remoteBoot=https://game-config.gryphline.com/api...

Save changes (ctrl+s)

Start the game as normal. Now the DLSS option inside the setting should show up again.

What this does is probably removing the online hardware check, by sending PC specs to Endfield's server and show/hide that corresponds to what the hardware supports. By removing the remoteBootline, it'll remove the online check and do the hardware checking locally, I think. Hope this helps ^^

Note: I'm testing this with Vulkan, not sure if it'll work with DirectX 11. Vulkan for me works fine, and test this fix with your own risk.

Hi, ive got a question, when certain cutscenes play the background seems like "pixelated" or maybe a bit "blurry", is this because of the nvidia graphics thing or some problem on my settings?

this problem only happens on cutscenes, not gameplay

Guide To Downloading New Drivers With Nvcleaninstall

Step 1: Manually select the latest known stable driver version. - ⚠️ RECOMMENDED VERSION 596.21 ⚠️

Additional Note: Leave the bottom box checked if you want update notifications.

Step 2: Make sure you only have Display Driver and Legacy Control Panel checked.

Additional Note: LAPTOP USERS will need to enable the NV Platform Controllers option.

Additional Note: Nvidia 20 Series Card users will need to enable the USB-C Driver option. (Ex: 2090, 2080 Ti, etc)

Extra Additional Note: Enable PhysX if you plan to use it, and enable HD Audio via HDMI if you plan to use it.

Step 3: Make sure you only have Disable Telemetry and Clean Installation checked after the drivers have downloaded.

Step 4: After you fully finish customizing the installation, click Show in Folder and move the folder into your Downloads so you can find it easily later.

Step 5: You have finished downloading your new drivers. Refer back to the DDU guide below to continue the reinstallation process.

How to use DDU to reinstall clean graphics drivers - 5 Minutes

Normal Mode

Step 1:

Install DDU and Nvcleaninstall from here:

Step 2:

>>> You MUST download the drivers onto your computer using Nvcleaninstall BEFORE going into safe mode. <<<

Step 3:

Search msconfig in your windows start menu and open it, afterwards navigate to the boot tab and check the safe boot option.

Step 4:

Next, you have to restart your computer >>> and then disconnect from your ethernet/wifi <<< to prevent windows from interfering with the process.

Now In Safe Mode

Step 5:

Run DDU as an administrator and select Clean and do NOT restart, and Clean Shader Cache (Only), after selecting your dedicated GPU device type.

Step 6:

After both fully finish which might take a few minutes, navigate to the folder with the drivers you downloaded with Nvcleaninstall, and run the Setup.exe as an administrator.

Step 7:

Navigate through the installation process with preferably a clean install, and you're finished.

Step 8:

Uncheck safe boot in msconfig to return to normal mode. ✅

it's a little bit different if you don't want the adrenalin service along with all of the other stuff that comes included
