You’re not considering the fact that internet speed works both ways. One gigabit for download and one gigabit for upload. That’s two gigabits total, and the network is fully loaded. Mine connection is only 1gbit.

I don’t understand what’s so hard to grasp here. Better to just Google what full‑duplex is and how it works if you’re curious. It’s the same with a 100‑Mbit connection. In practice you get 200 mbit total, 100 for download and 100 for upload. Seems pretty straightforward.

With a 100 mbit network card you won’t actually get 200 mbit for bouth upload and download. Instead you’ll see something like 50 mbit download and 50 mbit upload. Not all 100‑Mbit cards support full‑duplex. More modern ones do, but those are usually already 2.5 gbit cards. And this detail is rarely mentioned anywhere, so I think not everyone realizes it’s possible. Yes, it’s capped at 100 mbit, but separately in both directions for upload and download. So i mean if you have 2.5 gbit lan with slower internet provider you have profit from it in this way.

Operating temperature is normal until 86 degrees so not much to worry about

Really? It hit 86 yesterday. And that's with power processor being limited to 3.2GHz.
I feel it could hit 90 easily without limits.
I worry when future patches drop.

Can I even undervolt for my particular CPU? I saw somewhere certain CPUs are hard-coded(?); they can't be undervolted no matter what.
