When I am playing the game with mouse and keyboard it will be fine one day, then all of a sudden become a laggy messy the next, reinstalling works. That post made me double check, and indeed this only happens when my mouse polling is set very high. At 8000 hrz the game is down to nearly 1 FPS.
Swapping to controller and no issues at all, game runs smooth, pick the mouse back up, poof laggy mess. Reducing the polling rate to 125 gets the FPS back up, but still not flawless.

Thing is, with UAC on, when you login as admin, windows gives you two keys, a standard key and admin key. Every app you open. Browser/discord steam etc use the standard key be default.

With uac off, every single process you start is instantly handed the admin key, if a web browser bug is exploited by an malvare add, the exploit instant have high level permission to install kernel drivers or wipe your drive without a single prompt.
