Few days ago the game was stuck on "releasing resources", fixed it by running the game directly as an admin instead of the launcher. Later it stopped working and I fixed it by starting the game in directx 11 instead of vulkan.

Since yesterday I've been having the same problem however none of the previous solutions work; I've checked integrity, reinstalled the game, made both game and launcher start with admin permissions by default, checked the integrity again, ran it in directx 11 (however now it doesn't even reach the releasing resources screen, it gets stuck on "code error 0" and saying it can check the game live version and to check my internet connection)

has anyone encountered this same situation? any way to fix it?

Im confused on trying to link my pc to my mobile endfield account. I've linked it to an email and logged in on the pc launcher and checked the account id on both devices and they are both the same. My Specs : RTX 4050 , R7 7840HS (Laptop), 16 gig dual
Apparently i've been tracking performance stat and i noticed something odd
fps's 90 (capped it myself) but %1low sits at a horrendous 48, but my gpu utilization's not even past 70% and i get alot of microstuttering feels, it stays this way ** in and outside combat
So, i uncapped my fps back to 120, switched from DLSS Quality to DLAA and, turned off several background apps to release RAM
GPU Utl back around 85-99 (fluctuating)
Performance's improved, 115-105 with %1low around 72, down to 100-90 and 58-68 %1low but the overall feel is much more buttery smooth
so like...whats going on here in the game

You should try a DDU & driver reinstall
Sometimes there's residual stuff from driver updates that doesn't play nice with the newer driver

Because Vulkan should be a just works button for you

right so 4050 with ingame DLSS. 4050's Tensor core might not powerful enough to actually gain performance. the ingame DLSS version is 4.5 which is heavilly working on visual not performance. u can use performance mode since thats what 4.5 was meant to work with.
most of the time DLSS just there to lower your gpu load usage and vram usage

The big capacitors can hold onto voltage for quite a while, you can get electrocuted in a disconnected PSU
