Hey, got massive conncection problems for a few says now, with everything being just fine before.

It started with the game connecting to the servers (I guess) midgame when trying to synchronize game progress (e.g. resource collection).
Now I need to start and restart the game several times before the game even checks its resources and allows me to log in.

The first attempts result in error messages and when I'm finally logged in the connection problems remain, sometimes even resulting in a „no connection possible“ error with a dropout back to the main screen.

Repairing the game, clearing the PS5 cache and reinstalling didn‘t change anything of this.

highly sus of it causing the memleak, some peeps were fine after disabling it or setting it to a higher quality setting (less upscaling)

As of today 30, 01.3026 the operator i/the player ,plays does automatic standart attack everytime i enter the map, menu and everything else.
It can only be canceled by repeadatly pressing the attack Button wich is in my case the square. After that the character stops attacking but pressing option or map or anything else restarts the prosses and if the attack Button is not pressed it just keeps attacking .
And yes, i tried different Controllers so its not a controller issue

I got a 4070rtx, 32gb ram, good cpu as well. So i noticed that when i started playing arknights , teleporting loaded the screen fast, as time passes teleporting takes longer and longer in the loading screen. That uses super high quality hair cards. So trades physics on the hair you get with FF7R with more static hair at higher quality.

I am saying this is what I did. I download it on epic I started playing it I didn’t have any issues then I tried to login the other day it said releasing resources. And it kept getting stuck on that screen. So I clear the cache and then I uninstalled it on epic since it wasn’t working, I went on the website and I downloaded it from there after then I tried to. Log into the game and I’m still having the issues one of my friends recommended that I run it in administrator mode on the launcher so that’s what I tried to do and it still won’t work.

On the note of FF16 though. CS3 is still pushing/working on seeing if they can get it running on Switch 2 (after Naoki Yoshida and Kazutoyo Maherio talked about it in an interview last year and a report earlier this week).

Considering how successful FF7 Remake on Switch 2 has been I assume Square is going to redouble those efforts alongside making sure Rebirth and FF7R3 Switch 2 are as best as possible

And makes me wonder if we'll see freaking FF16 on Switch 2 before one of these AAA-F2Ps lol.

on PS5 it's 95GBs iirc after the DLC, and Switch 2 has it's own Decompression engine

Big thing for FF16 though to be a (in my analysis) good port would be moving a lot of effects and geometry to compute. FF16 is more or less "Pixel Shader Rasterization hitting the wall"

A side benefit though of optimizing FF16 is it retroactively can give notes/lessons for FF14 as they share the same engine.

So if they do say, cook up a lightweight RTGI (saving pixel shader resources and file size without needing it's very heavy baked lighting) and Compute Geometry system for FF16 Switch 2, they could use that work to improve FF14
