It was Asus's GPUTweak. Looks like the on screen Display that never actually seems to work was causing the issue with Endfield. Endfield has now launched with Vulkan

My CPU is staying around 84c when playing Arknights since a couple days ago's patch. The hotfix last night didn't help at all. I'm not gonna try to tweak anything or change anything, because nothing on my end changed. The games code is wack, and the devs need to address the reason why CPU load is low but thermals are EXTREMELY HIGH. The only thing I can think of that would cause that, would be a stuck AVX instruction on a loop. Check your code.

You should try reinstalling it (from the GRYPHLINK folder), or the game as a whole
You can copy the game files first to another location to skip the redownloading

I'm encountering a bug that has me stuck in a loop where I can't play the game anymore.

I started the mission to upgrade the Infra-Station. I think it's proably the 3rd or so upgrade.

After the dialogue, it starts a tutorial to open the Protosync
Enter the Archives
Enter Intel Gathering
Enter the Incident Investigation screen
After pressing X, I can't do anything. It even says "not found" for the X button in the bottom right. The game doesn't appear to be frozen because icons are still moving. Maybe I already had the investigation done prior to the mission?

I've tried restarting the game but it immediately starts me at step 2 above. 😩

I'm on PS5.

Guys I fixed the stuck on "Releasing Resources" screen problem. First I tried with verifying files and restarting pc but didn't work, then I unchecked the DirectX 11 option and it moved on.
In the launcher if you have the option "Launch with DirectX 11 in case of problems with the game" checked, uncheck it and then launch the game.
You can check it again afterwards if you need it.

For me the issue was the cached files. Some error there. I deleted the localow and roaming temp files and the game ran just fine.

I had to run dx11 the other night. Couldn't get Vulkan to launch after a gpu driver update. Turns out it was Asus's gpu tweak 3 that was causing Vulcan to crash during launch

I took another look at the event viewer. And noticed that on one of the crashes, it showed the problem app being endfield, but the problem module was GPU Tweak's OSD. So I turned off the OSD and closed the program. Endfield booted up fine afterwards

I had to link another mail, dissociate my ps5 from the game and restart the game, it makes you select between linking your Gryphline account to your psn account and use your psn account without linking

Higher cpu usage is after playing for atleast an hour or so.
Lower cpu usage when you just started playing.
CPU Usage ofc went up from 50C to 65C~
Both usage is in the same area and camera position.
