I have a game breaking (possibly) bug report. Afterr exiting immersive/immersion mode from Wuling, I teleported to Valley 4 and got an AIC Factory Tutorial. I then tap/click it and the game is somehow just stuck... background is moving so the game is not "frozen"... might be a scripting bug I have verified game files on PC and repaired on Mobile and the issue still persists Wish there was an option to remove/skip tutorials

I've managed to find a fix for the pixelated DoF blurring during dialogue cutscenes. I've confirmed this fix working 3 out of the 3 times I've tried it and would appreciate others confirming if it also works or not for them.

1: Open camera tool
2: Click scene(top left)
3: Change aperture slider to mess with the DoF

This must be done every time you launch the game.

That should be all you need to do for the fix but I've only ever done it the exact way shown in the video below with a few extra steps. Those extra steps would be zooming out then back in before steps 2-3 and afterwards swapping to camera control mode instead of operator then moving the camera away a little bit.

Thank you for your help, I honestly surprise me in that case it offers me 4k window, the way it sounds it shouldn't run that. The latest patch to the game has caused the CPU to overheat. I've seen about a 15c degree increase over what I was seeing initially on game launch. All my settings are the same. Used both Vulkan and DX11, both have same effect with CPU hitting 86c under load after around 30 minutes playtime.

Well I've used the fsr4 mod in dozens of other games before. It's super simple. It does modify the dlss/FSR/xess files though which again probably tos violation

And I think that mod even has an int8 version of fsr4 for your 7900

Keep it in mind for other games though. Can probably run it with quality upscaling for a small performance and visual boost in other games. Not as good as the native fp8 but certainly better than regular fsr3

Depends on the igpu. The game also runs on mobile so it does scale pretty well.

It can also be better than Windows on Nvidia if the game is running in Vulkan or DirectX11, DX12 is a bit worse but the fix has already been added to Vulkan, is supported in the latest Wine, and now we just need to wait on the next Nvidia driver release + the next Proton release!

And it's usually the devs specifically disabling Linux in their anticheats. The games technically would run if not for that.

My favorite example is tarkov where I can menu and manage my hideout, buy and sell on the flee market, and play PvE on some maps, but pvp, coop, and larger maps requiring server back ends are disabled.

It uses battleeye which does work on Linux, the devs specifically need to allow it on their end. Literally just a toggle in the software.

It depends. Easy anticheat and battleye anticheats are a couple of the biggest anticheats in the industry, they have a toggle

a lot just done though, too. In ACE's case, it only has hard support for the steam deck specifically

however, now all known ACE games are believed to work fine thanks to dwproton devs
