Its the rotation of vuln stacks. So phys operators have a few moves that apply physical statuses (theres a few) and build up vuln stacks. The more vuln stacks, the more whatever consumes them (pog's breach or endmin's crush) damages or amplifies its effect. Pog has breach, it makes the enemy take more physical damage. Endmin has crush, which is just big ol damage. So first you vuln stack -> breach to make the enemy take more phys damage, build vuln, crush with endmin for big big dmg.

basically your weapons requires equipment called essence, which has randomized stats on it. you farm essences to get the right attributes according to your weapon attributes. there is a mechanic to guarantee 2/3 of the randomized stats so you only have to hunt for the last one. etching is basically upgrading the attributes by sacrificing a bunch of duds essences
