Its also possible, again assuming the whole reformating idea where she lost all memory and is starting over from scratch, its very likely M3 is how Kal'tsit was originally when she was first created. And the Kal we got to know in Arknights was just suuuuuuuper jaded and feeling the wear on her from countless centuries of having to witness endless strife and suffering that Theresa ended up being a beacon of hope for her before you know what happened with all that.

Why I dont like the story :
The story doesnt have any sign of depth : the characters are monochromatic, no nuance, the good guys are the good guys, the bad guys are the bad guys. There is never conflict, nobody ever gets really angry (hello the "dorknerd" scene between character supposed to hate each other to death, sure way to kill any hint of believable conflict)
The constant Endmin glazing makes no fucking sense and is annoying. Endmin is a name that is associated with a saviour, sure, but also with despair, as Endfield only calls Endmin when the situation is SO BAD that there is no other choice than using a deus ex machina to get alive from that. People glazing just makes no fucking sense, because they should be AFFRAID of what it means to see endmin. They should be EVNE MORE affraid and doubtfull to see their saviour has lost both memories and most of their powers

Nobody ever suffers or struggles in this universe. The very concept of suffering seems absent. First scene in the prologue after we arrive in Terra : Fiona telling us that "nobody died to the LB attack and Anchor"
