I was using the ferrium split method and had to treat sewage. I think the better way to do it is to feed only 1st expanded crucible with sewage and pass on both type of effluents using a converger into the 2nd expanded cruicible but the 2nd one shouldnt be fed any sewage. It will use the same sewage that is created while producing xircon. so you basically feed ferrium to only 2nd one and no splitting required. I found this through Hikarin while making a few changes and to optimise battery production along with gourd production for the event.

the purpose of those splitters is to give it priority instead of the depot unloader lane, so the converger doesn't have to stay at the entrance.
The converger seems to prioritize the splitter while ignoring the depot unloader is the reason why the 2 splitters were placed there.
for the right side setup to work like the middle one, need to move it up so the converger is at the entrance of the unloader.
just realized it might be easier to show via video than tell. Notice how the middle one only takes from the depot unloader when there's no item from the splitter. While the right side, the converger goes back and forth.

The gourds take significantly less resources than hetonite for being 8 wuling bills cheaper
