I would manually grab 100 HC batteries from Valley IV (either on Dijang or go there yourself), and stick 50 each in two thermal banks (not connected), then work on your battery line. You'll have 20 minutes or so to get it working. If it doesn't, go back and grab some more batteries.

The ferrium reserve actually runs a net negative between cycles leaving room for ferrium to be stashed

If you run 12 batt per minute, you won't have any excess originium, but if you spend any xiranite on components, you will have excess originium. Why not burn it for power if it saves you some batteries. You can't really spend it alone on anything else worth of value.
